What does a LIVELY host actually do?

You go live on behalf of brands — showing products, answering questions from real viewers, creating energy, and converting browsers into buyers. Think of yourself as part show host, part trusted friend, part sales expert.

This is not influencer content. This is live commerce — where every session has a purpose, a brand behind it, and a crowd watching in real time.

A typical Pulse session looks like this:

30 MIN Prep — brief, product test, space setup
LIVE 30–60 min Pulse — present, demo, engage, sell
AFTER Scorecard, self-review, brand feedback

Do I need prior experience to apply?

No. We hire across all backgrounds. What we look for is camera confidence, communication skills, and genuine enthusiasm. We train everything else. Many of our best hosts came from retail, theatre, or social media — not traditional presenting.
What equipment do I need?

A modern smartphone is enough to start. We recommend adding a basic ring light (₹800–1,500) before your first session. As you progress, LIVELY will guide you on what to invest in. You do not need a dedicated camera to be a certified host.
How long is the training program?

8 days total — 4 modules of 2 days each. Module 1: Foundations. Module 2: Camera craft. Module 3: Selling skills. Module 4: Brand sessions. Day 9 is your Certification Pulse. Training is flexible and can be done remotely.
Can I host while I have another job?

Yes. Most of our early hosts start part-time. Sessions are typically 1–2 hours including prep, and we schedule around your availability. Many trainees do 2–3 sessions per week. As your tier grows, you can decide how much to commit.
When do I get paid?

Payment is processed within 7 days of each completed session. We pay by bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) or UPI. GMV bonuses are calculated and paid at the end of each month once confirmed by the brand.
What if I'm applying as a brand's team member?

Select "Brand Voice / Co-Host" as your archetype in the application. Your training and certification still goes through LIVELY, but you host exclusively for your brand's Pulses. Your brand can fund the certification cost as part of their LIVELY partnership.
